Lakshmi Rao, M.S. is a clinical scientist, pharmacist, and career coach dedicated to guiding individuals through the process of securing a job in the pharmaceutical industry.
 
After completing her pharmacy education in India, Lakshmi received her first M.S. in Clinical Research from the Medical University of South Carolina followed by an M.S. in Epidemiology from the University of Pittsburgh. She has ten years of experience as a clinical researcher and consultant. She started her career in clinical operations and made a transition to clinical development. Not only is she highly experienced and knowledgeable about clinical science, she also has extensive experience in all areas of clinical trial management, and hands-on experience in all phases of clinical trials in hematology, oncology, rare diseases and diabetes.
 
As an industry insider, Lakshmi has firsthand knowledge of the struggles job seekers face in this field. After years of experience, difficult transitions, and navigating an everchanging immigration environment, she realized there were few career resources and professional development opportunities specific to professionals and new entrants in the pharmaceutical industry. By understanding specific needs of every individual including training,Lakshmi has successfully placed dozens of clients in careers across the industry.

 

She has guided clinical scientists with onboarding and especially with on-the-job-training on data review processes. Drawing from her diverse educational background and years of experience as a clinical scientist at major pharmaceutical companies, Lakshmi is committed to guiding professionals secure top jobs and build their dream careers.
